Meet the Team

Misty has been in dentistry since 1994. She has been a versatile employee with Clemmons Family Dental since 2019. Misty attended Guilford Technical Community College where she became a trained dental assistant. Misty lives in the Wallburg area with her husband Joey. She has four children, Cooper, Colton, Callie and Caisey. Clemmons Family Dental has enjoyed the stories of her family as they have homed pigs, chickens, guinea pigs, goats, ducks, and two dogs. Misty loves spending time with her family by going to the lake, the river and hunting. If you can’t find Misty at work or on the ballfield, volleyball court or motocross track, she is probably at Ortho Carolina with one of the accident-prone kids! 😉

Jill grew up in the Lewisville-Clemmons area, and joined our practice in 2014 with over 20 years’ experience in the dental field. Jill is married to Darren and has two children Cameron and Kenzie and a son in law Daniel. In her time away from work she enjoys Bible studies, church activities and reading. Jill has a cat named Licorice that she adores. In her early years Jill was in a TV commercial, which she defines as making her a super star. Jill keeps a bag packed at all times in the event that someone mentions going to the beach or the mountains. She is happy to drive you anywhere you want to go, just be sure you know which of her many cars she is driving that day.

Patti has been a valuable part of the Clemmons Family Dental team since 1995. She is originally from Taylorsville where she mastered the art of speaking “Taylornese.” Patti is married to Jerry and they have two sons, two daughters in laws and 7 grandchildren. Her most favorite love is DOGS, her grand dogs, her coworkers’ dogs, YOUR coworkers’ dogs, etc. Patti looks forward to anytime she can get to the beach, watching her grandkids play sports and reading a good book. Patti knows everyone, feeds everyone, and prays for everyone! She is definitely a keeper 😉

Cyndi attended East Carolina University and then became certified from Wake Forest Health Sciences. She joined the Clemmons Family Dental team in 2009. Cyndi is married to her high school sweetheart Kevin, and has two sons, one daughter in law and two granddaughters—who define perfection. Her favorite sidekick is Edith, her shih tzu. In her spare time, she loves to play golf, watch sports and lay by the pool. Those that are close to her know her as “honey” and she is just that sweet. Cyndi played golf for less than a year when she hit her first hole in one at Salem Glen Country Club. She has been famous ever since 😊

Brooke joined Clemmons Family Dental in 2019. She attended Forsyth Technical Community College to get her certification as a dental assistant. Cool fact is that Brooke now works at the very dental practice where she was a patient as a child. She has been in the dental field since 2006. Brooke also holds a Tik Tok degree and will continue to work to sharpen her skills moving forward. 😉 Brooke is married to Brandon and they have two sons, Owen and Ethan. Although Brooke works daily as an assistant, she is also a huge asset to every aspect of the office. Her free time is spent with her kids and their sporting activities. She loves to take road trips, reading, and being involved with her church family and community. Brooke has a contagious laugh that we enjoy whenever we are near her.   

Angie attended Guilford Technical Community College, and is a certified dental assistant with our practice since 1996. Angie is married to Jonathan, and they have two sons named Trevor and Zack. When Angie has time away from the office, she enjoys making crafts, loving on her pugs, Angel and Diesel and traveling to watch her boys compete in clay shooting competitions. Angie can only hitch hike with one hand, as she has one thumb that is smaller than the other. *We think this makes her a better assistant 😉

Melanie attended Wilkes Community College, and received her dental certification from Wake Forest Health Sciences. She joined our team in 2013 with over 20 years of experience. Melanie has a husband Scott, a son Christopher and a grandson Ryder. Melanie cannot say “no” to any stray animal which is why she has two Shihtzus, one Shihtzu mix, a Chihuahua, some rescue dogs and an abandoned squirrel. Melanie loves camping in her camper, the beach, reading and spending time with her grandson.

Karyn joined us in 2012 and has practiced in the area since 1996. She attended Guilford Technical Community College. Karyn served as an examiner for the NC Board of Dental Examiners and CITA regional board from 2005 to 2019. Karyn recently received her Local Anesthesia for Dental Hygiene certification. She also holds the prestigious award of “Golden Scaler” and loves to educate patients as she cleans their teeth. Karyn has a husband, Michael and two sons, Alec and Bryce. She has two dogs. Ultra is her mini golden doodle and Zoey is her loving Shihtzu. Karyn loves to spend time golfing, traveling and being a mermaid at the beach. Cool fact about Karyn is that she has a yellow smiley face tattooed on her molar. 😉

Marci has been with Clemmons Family Dental since 2002. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. Marci is married to Dr David Chermak and they have two children, Stephen and Pierce. Marci enjoys traveling, and has a goal of traveling to all seven continents. She also travels all over to watch her boys play hockey. Marci is a bit of a foodie and likes to try news restaurants as well as recipes. Clemmons Family Dental is the perfect setting to try any type of new dish. They eat EVERYTHING 😉 Marci has a dog that doesn’t like to leave her side. His name is Zeke and he is a Malagasy Coton de Tulear.

Kerstin has been with Clemmons Family Dental since 2022. She has been practicing dental Hygiene since 2015. Kerstin recently received her Local Anesthesia for Dental Hygiene certification. She is originally from Williamsburg Virginia. She married Michael who serves the in the National Guard, and together they have two sons, Eli and Jackson and two dogs Mason (lab-shepherd mix) and Aria (German Shephard.) When not chasing children and dogs Kerstin loves to spend time with friends and family, where she gets the opportunity to tell the “worlds longest stories.” Her patients enjoy their time with her and she makes them feel very comfortable as she gets them all shined up.

Kassidy has been with Clemmons Family Dental since 2023. Kassidy had many major milestones occur for her in the last couple of years. Kassidy studied hygiene at Guilford Technical Community college. Kassidy graduated on a Thursday from hygiene school and the very next day she married her sweetheart, Logan. They waited to celebrate with a honeymoon until after she took her board certification test. They also have a Shihtzu named Rambo who doesn’t know he is a dog or only 10 pounds. Kassidy adds just the right things to balance us out here at the office. She has a great sense of humor, she can multitask, and she is also tall (which makes 3 out of 17 of us. 😉) Kassidy also has a crazy sense of adventure—she has been skydiving twice and would go again and again and again.

Kelsey has been with Clemmons Family Dental since she was 10 years old! She came to us first as a patient and loved it so much that she went to Dental Assisting school with the Davie-Davidson certification program after high school so she could become an employee. Kelsey loves dogs of any kind but has a special place in her heart for her shih-tzu, Dixie and Sid. In her spare time, she is a cheer coach and loves to work on racecars on the local Bowman Gray circuit. Kelsey brings lots of laughter to the office and now has gained a dozen new moms as we guide her in her daily work life. Kelsey believes that the main reason she was hired was because her mom is “the office hairdresser!” 😊 (that DID help!)

Ashley comes to us with 23 years of experience in dental hygiene.  She is thrilled to bring her expertise and compassion to our practice. A graduate of both West Forsyth High School and the Hygiene program at Guilford Technical Community College.  Ashley’s dedication to dentistry shines through her love for patient care and chairside education.

Ashley and her husband, Wesley, have two children, Lauren Paige and Brayden.  Ashley is a proud member of her local community.
